Following on from the Some DWSLP (https://librarymusicthemes.com/index.php?topic=23.0) and More DWSLP (https://librarymusicthemes.com/index.php?topic=696.0) threads we have even more stereo rips from the De Wolfe vinyl stable.
First up is the first Stereo release following the wonderful 'Heavy Truckin' (DW/LP 3275).All tracks composed by Keith Papworth with 'Wheel Man' finding itself used in 'The Sweeney'. I'm surprised more tracks from this LP didn't turn up in the show as it has that urban cop vibe that we all loved in the 90's and still love today.
'Wheel Man' was comped on 'Shut It', posted on the forum (https://librarymusicthemes.com/index.php?topic=619.msg2217#msg2217) (but link may be dead).
My 'Metroplolis' has no cover sadly :( (https://i.postimg.cc/G2DxQjzC/index.jpg)(https://i.postimg.cc/zXQ3z18x/no-artist-listed-metropolis-2-ab.jpg)

I'm very fond of DWSLP 3345 - Nomination as it reminds me of when I first started buying library music and making tape cassettes to listen to walking to and from work. Ripping this bought back some fond memories :D

Thanks for the recent additions! I recognize Peter Milray's "Time Machine" from El Diabolik's World of Psychotronic Soundtracks podcast series: https://eldiabolik.wordpress.com/
It's used as a background track for the conversations - I don't like listening to both conversation and music at the same time, but I like the thumping disco track... :-)

Thanks for continuing the De Wolfe upgrades, Retro! Eventually, we'll be able to replace the entire catalogue! :D

Super Sunday, NO It's De Wolfe Day here in the Northeast. Thank you Retronic!!!

The music editor on Prisoner Cell Block H must've thought Christmas had come when he unwrapped his latest package from De Wolfe and he spun Gun Man on his turntable. Now whenever he had a scene with some con stalking the corridors, perhaps to put ground glass in someone hand cream or a razor blade on their soap, he had it covered with 'Small group, dramatic pieces for chases, fights, tension, mystery, horror, etc. with a modern sound'. Used from the late 100's right up until the mid 500's it had a good runa nd tracks like 'Cold Steel' and 'Nerves of Steel' were used to death.
