Title: Trying to ID tracks from 1970 TV show
Post by: ccampbell on November 20, 2019, 04:11:46 AM
I've uploaded a couple of tracks to YouTube that I'm trying to identify.  They were used in dance numbers in a 1970 syndicated variety TV series called "Something Else".  One or both may possibly be from film soundtracks from around that time.  Thanks for listening!

I don't recognise them but the second is sort of familiar- very library and I'd bet I and others have it.  It has a souly TV cop/ Police Woman vibe.  Hopefully someone can ID them.

This is tough. All so generic to my ears, but I love this sorta sound from that period.

That first cut sounds like the Brass Ring or any number of other similar "Now Sound" instrumental groups in the late 60s.

I wonder if these might be Edd Kalehoff or Walt Levinsky productions?
