Title: Trying to ID track used in 70s drive in bumper + Gumby epsiode
Post by: Cordslatwalled on November 17, 2019, 01:59:06 AM
Trying to ID a piece used in these two videos:
First is a movie bumper from the 60s/70s

Second appearance is in a Gumby episode from 1968. It can be heard at about 19 seconds

The music sounds more 50s to me so it’s possible it’s an older piece of stock music.
Thought I’d see if anyone here knows it

I don't know the cut, but if it was in Gumby, it's probably a Capitol Hi-Q track.

I agree with my fellow user- this is definitely from Hi-Q. Sounds to me like something Bill Loose wrote, possibly with Emil Cadkin and/or Jack Cookerly.
