Title: Orchestra Berto Pisano ‎– Orchestra Berto Pisano
Post by: brotherjohn on September 23, 2019, 01:02:17 PM
Hi chaps,

I don't suppose anyone has Orchestra Berto Pisano ‎– Orchestra Berto Pisano (https://www.discogs.com/Orchestra-Berto-Pisano-Orchestra-Berto-Pisano/release/9099285 (https://www.discogs.com/Orchestra-Berto-Pisano-Orchestra-Berto-Pisano/release/9099285)) by any chance?

I've only heard two tracks on YouTube (hear them at Discogs above) but they are both so outstanding that I'd love to hear the rest of the album. Its not Library, though I believe BP did record some library records.

Hopefully...

BJ

I don't have this, unfortunately.

This is a library LP, however.

Oh really? It sounds too finished and complete to be Library... Thanks for the info!

Ouch, what harsh words! High quality and production values is something I associate with library music - not as the exception, but the norm.

Hi, here is the album.
A variety of tracks ranging across different genres with class.

The cover image is the same as that of Kansas City KS 102 "Musiche di M. Ceccarelli - F. De Lucia" from two years later.

Enjoy!

What I meant was that the two tracks I'd heard on YT seemed to have been designed to entertain, to be foreground, rather than background. And I quite agree, about high quality and production values! That's why it seems so mad that so much of Alessandroni's work e.g. A Trip Around the World, Prisma Sonoro, could ever have been recorded just to sit on a shelf until someone wanted it... These two are among my favourite albums of all time!
