After the other post, I was feeling nostalgic to my childhood and went looking up more of these...I found this one here and looking to fill in the blanks.. here's the link :
And can anyone fill in the blanks?
1.Midas Touch - Love Of Life
2.Midas Touch - Discolation
3.??? (sounds familiar - has a sort of Alan Parker sound)
and the rest I have no clue..but the very last one also sounds familiar
-
I definitely have the one at 3'26", I'm 99% certain it's an Impress/JW track, probably one of the Bastow brothers or Zack Laurence. I think all the music on this is from Impress/JW, actually.
-
Yep, it's "Airedale (Curry)" by Geoff Bastow - Programme Music PM 15 - Double Exposure
-
I have that lady one but can’t think what it is. Maybe on Faces of Funk or similar.
-
Unfortunately I don't recognise any but I recently went to my first ever Drive-In in whilst in the US in Missouri. The music they used for the original old fashioned intermission is "Smart Set" by Dolf Van Der Linden
I did record 1 minute of the intermission and can upload if you wanted.
-
You guys are good.
Here's one: "Rock Step" - PM 22 - Choice Morsels - is during the puppies and kittens segment.
-
That's 2! Thanks so far folks :) Let's see if the rest can be nailed. I'm surprised I didn't catch the one off "Choice Morsals" as I actually have that LP and known it for years..but I really only paid attention to the porn ID cuts on it..so that's why lol
-
I thought I would upload it anyway, excuse the unsteady hand.
As well as being "Smart Set" by Dolf Van Der Linden, it seems to also be called "Puppet Polka" by Roger Roger

That's the Filmack clock titled "Variety Show." I think I have all the cuts from that one, but I'm away from home at the moment and don't have access to my info. Two of the titles that come to mind are "Broadway Encore" and "Guitar Salsa." I think they're both on Carlin Archive.

There's missing one here:
Midas Touch - Smart Mover

Did anyone ID the track used in the first minute of the video?
-
Such great memories of the Drive-In. Sadly the last remaining one here in Delaware, closed up in 2008.
-
Here's a better version of the first track. I think everything in the film has been identified, except this first piece.
Anyone?

Thanks, Stack! I listened and it isn't "Love of Life," but your tip caused me to check out the other cuts on that LP.
I found it! The track is, "L.A. Disco!" :)

Okay, I have the whole film spotted and ID'd all the tracks except one.
(Please correct, as titles may be mislabeled.)
Here is the lineup:
- It's Intermission header segment - "Love of Life" (JW 462, PM 019)
- Musical segment showing flyover footage - "Discolation" (JW 462, PM 019)
- Musical segment continues - "Airedale" (JW 458, PM 015)
- 5-minutes and food clips - "Packing a Punch" (JW 462, PM 019)
- unknown (flowers segment)
- 3-minutes and food clips - "Smart Mover" (JW 465, PM 022)
- Musical segment puppies and kittens - "Rock Step" (JW 465, PM 022)
- 1-minute and Showtime tag - "Raunchy" (JW 458, JW 2081, PM 015)
Here is the track yet to be ID'd.... I was hoping YouTube would flag it and tell me the title, but no such luck.

Okay, I apologize, then. The tracks must be mislabeled in my copy of PM 019.
Which means other titles in my list could also be wrong. Great.
Thanks, Stack. :)
EDIT: I downloaded another copy of PM 019, and every track on my existing copy is labeled wrong! >:( (HOW does that even happen?!) I corrected the above post.

It was said in another thread that the flower track is from Chappell LPC 1086. “Sundancer” by Paul Rey.
