Title: Can I recommend a great music file tagger
Post by: DIVE on February 26, 2019, 02:59:48 PM
I know you guys put a lot of effort into ripping all this music, so I just wanted to give a little back and hopefully make your lives a little easy with this small recommendation. :D

https://www.mp3tag.de/en/

Works well on both Win&Mac. Drop the files in and send it off to Discogs to get track names, artwork etc.

All pretty simple.

Welcome and thanks for the suggestion!
... though I would never allow any automatic system to do my tagging - that's my job! Hehe.

Thanks for sharing this, DIVE. I'm sure many will appreciate it.
I'm with Mr on this, though, I prefer tagging everything manually, been doing so for two decades now ;) Most times it's the only way I get a chance to listen to the music, tagging away...

I would have thought this would be a standard tool in any serious MP3/FLAC librarian's toolbox... Not sure about automatisation this offers, but I've been using it a lot - for MANUAL tagging.
