Thanks, Killa. Some nice jazz pieces on this one.

Thank Killa for the news.
Any info on the composers?
-
One of these cues was used in the old "Big Jon and Sparkie" radio show. I always wondered where that music came from, now I know. Thanks!

None listed, I believe - that's Capitol for ya ;)
Probably/maybe Loose-Cadkin-Green, though.

Thanks for the lead, Cevan.
I'm a huge fan of OTR but I've never heard the "Big Jon and Sparkie" show, although I'm familiar with Howdy Doody, thanks to the tv revival circa 1975-76.
When you were listening to the "Big Jon and Sparkie" show, was this during the initial syndication during the 1950s, or the 1970s revival?
Now we have an approximate time frame to begin looking for composers, recording dates, issue dates, etc.
I also found this nifty link: http://www.bigjohnandsparky.com

I have a couple records with G.R.H. Publications on it and both are Loose, Cadkin (William or Bill Loose & Emil Cadkin)
-
Well, that's a possibility. Thank you YPD.
-
Nice one!...I really like the imagery this music is conveying...Thank you Killa!
-
Thanks, Killa. This has to be late 50s.

Here is the episode of Big Jon and Sparkie that uses one of the cues from this album:
