Post by: ericmivalstoothbrush on December 24, 2018, 10:08:56 PM: I hope you don't mind, Sub, but I took the liberty of tweaking your TCR 104 upload for personal use. I actually find spending an hour or two doing click removal and audio restoration work kind of relaxing (yes, I know I'm sick). :-[

Thanks once again for these uploads, Sub! The reason I picked TCR 104 was because it has a couple of tracks that were used in the TV series "The Prisoner" and your upload sounds so much better than every other version I have on CD -- well, apart from the pops and crackles, so I decided to remove them. Then I just kept going and did the entire LP. I also discovered that there were two tracks in one file, so I split them. The entire upload has been folded down to true mono as well, plus a few TINY EQ adjustments.

I was just cleaning my ipod for travels yesterday, and removed many Chappells, wishing to have them back at some point on my computer (they were from the time I didn't realize it's difficult to transfer the files back from ipod and I stored many albums only there). So here they are! It's a Festivus miracle! Merci beaucoup for this ultra super duper humongous share [(Sub)]!

Post by: Retronic on December 27, 2018, 09:13:52 AM: Sub, I'm on a bit of a Chappell phase myself; currently ripping the Index series after recently doing a lot of LPC's- let me know if you have any gaps (while I'm on a roll with them). I'm easily distracted- i was happily doing Studio G's but got mislead by a Chappell half way through.

They're of interest to me lately after doing that Herschell Gordon Lewis soundtrack compilation. As I'm doing them I have an ear out for tracks that may be from one of his films.

I've only had a chance to make random checks on various files, so far. Looking at the various LPs I opened, the included front / rear cover shots look pristine. Yours is a very handsome collection.
