I could’ve used the time to have done something else.
Any in particular, niknak?
I remember someone asked about Natural Born Fillers but couldn't remember who. Enjoy your early start. Go mad.. drink coffee.. eat a croissant..

Didn’t get around to editing it but will do Stack. I might do another Harmonic x 3. This is a big undertaking though- I’ve bitten off more than I can chew! Might have to miss the odd day. I’ll do as much as I can! I’m enjoying it and it’s making he rip things I’ve had for years and never edited.
Are you a Brit too, Rocco?
People suffer all sorts of things through life and they face adversity and stay strong to get through the day and do what they need to do. Some people achieve amazing things in the face of certain failure.
I know how they feel.... editing multiple LPs with bleepy non-descript track after track in a busy household where every time someone says 'Can you empty the dishwasher' or 'Can you bring the washing in' you lose your place!!!! I know some of you have been there.... :o It ain't pretty and I probably won't sleep tonight unless I veg in front of some rubbish TV for a few hours (exactly my intention).
What was I thinking! I did have a small pile of the red and blue Chappells and Atmosphere LPs ready to rip but they'll have to wait.

It's December and I like Christmas. I lost my Mum earlier this year so this one feels different and I notice I'm feeling far more Christmassy and a lot earlier than I usually do. So I want to warm into it with some cyber friends who share one of my biggest loves. Other than explaining what it is when someone asks what music I like I don't get much chance to talk about it.
I plan to post something each day for the next 24 days in the build up to Christmas Day. I haven't planned anything and I've been away all week so (as is always the case with me) it'll be on the fly, hit and miss but will hit the mark for some of you some of the time.
It gives me an excuse to pull out my 'corner records'. They are a bugger to get to because there are piles of records in front of them and it's hard to pull things off the shelf with so little space; consequently they rarely see the light of day.
I just went up now and looked into the dark corner.; there's a stack of Chappells, a decent pile of those Selected Sound ST records, some 80's Italian ones I never even played, some Ember, a few MPs, Intersounds, Brull/ Harmonics, Ready, Red Bus, Spectrum, blah blah blah.
I wanted to get some of these out and get them ripped as well as make a note of what I have.
The only problem (and it is a small one) is I haven't been paying attention so I don't know what's already shared. It's a shame to waste time ripping and upping something that everyone already has but it is likely to happen. My rule of thumb- I will do a search here and if it's not on the current forum I'll up it.
I often see something shared that I have had sat there and could have shared but didn't know what people wanted so in terms of Bruton, Sonoton, Southern, Peer, Amphonic, Sound Stage, De Wolfe, Boosey, Chappell, Rouge, Hudson... I have good runs. I also have decent runs of Parry, Standard, Selected Sound, Studio G....
So bouncing into December comes a Bud Sherman/ Hans Schobert trio from Drive In/ Comes Records.

This is lifted from a portable player so may be possible compression but think I've done it before and it was okay. I have the CD somewhere but this was quicker (and I'm a lazy so-and-so):

If I come across the CD I'll re-do but in the meantime...

Many thanks Retronic for uploading and sharing five CD titles from Winchester Hospital Radio. Unfortunately, the links are no longer active to two titles: Standby For Swing and Department TV.
These are Retronic's original uploads, only with new linkage:

It seems to open okay - I didn't put a decryption key on it. Does it work for anyone else?
