Hello to all,
here is "Il Primo Sole", the first release published by Reporter Records in 1983.
Bernardino Finocchi, composer of the album, was singer, flutist and saxophonist of the band Blocco Mentale in the early seventies.
The record offers a pleasant mix of funk and rock on the first side, while the second side includes very nice tracks in a melodic prog vein.

Hehe! What a surprise! You've made a really nice catch with this album Rocco...
Your description is on spot with the feeling I get from this album as well...a great album...

The B side got me on a Blocco Mentale nostalgia...playing right now...ahhh 1973...what a year!

...and you're right "Alghe" is definitely "the" track...
