I was given some old hi-fi equipment by a relative today and decided to give it a try by doing a needle-drop of this classic piece of space weirdness by the great Piero Umiliani. I'm too much of a cheapskate to own a first pressing on Omicron, so I had to settle for this, a 2015 vinyl reissue on Dagored. I've never seen this in lossless here or elsewhere, apart from a terrible mp3 transcode on Slsk. I have no idea why the sleeve mention "Moog", but perhaps it was synonymous with "synthesizer" back in 1972. I'm pretty sure this is all made on a EMS VCS3. Using automated click removal on a LP like this removes 95 % of the music, so I had to go the manual route which took me several hours, so I hope you'll enjoy this one. It's not for everyone, but if you like your Umiliani spaced out, at times a bit annoying and really experimental, this is a must! :D

I'm so glad I found this thread before the Stiffy links expired ;D
You're right, EM's Tooth Brush, this is one LP where I never expected to see a LOSSLESS rip. Nevertheless, I'm grateful for your ripping said reissue and in painstakingly removing the clicks, one by one.
Personally, I don't mind some moderate SKP, it's your attention to detail that impresses me. Thanks for this rare LP rip, and for caring enough to try and present your best of all possible efforts.
