I would love to see an upload of the entire lp in either WAV or FLAC. The last time it was uploaded, the A side was in mp3. It was good quality mp3 encoding, but I'm able to hear the difference when a non-lossy format is used.

Same file here..

I have JW 383, but I'm not sure if I ripped side A in lossless format.
If I haven't, then I could do so.

Yeah, I have that same copy you shared time ago JR. Side A was mp3 and side B was wav. It would be nice to complete it if you can.
Cheers.

Yes, please. :)

Rip the whole record, if you don't mind, please! I love world travel themes. :)

If you can't wait...
This is my previous rip; with Side A in MP3 format (which you can ignore), and Side B in WAV format.

I had much trouble ripping "The Serpent". Perhaps the previous owner of my copy of JW 383 had overplayed it.
My (better quality) MP3 rips of Side A came from a completely different source that is no longer accessible.

Well, you're right; your original rip of Side A was better, even with the lossy format. It's unfortunate the original disc you used is no longer available. Still, I thank you for your effort, sir. Maybe someday another well-preserved copy of this LP will turn up or, even better, whoever has the rights to these tracks could use the original masters to re-release them in digital form. The latter wish is unlikely to happen, but some of the JW tracks from that era have surfaced online, so you never know. Again, thanks.

Thank you JR.

You're welcome.
Sorry for the poor quality.

I decided to try to do a repair job on "The Serpent" (Side A, track 1). I used a snippet of the mp3 version to replace the missing portion on the wav file. I hope those interested will like the result, which can be downloaded through the following link:

Thanks again to Jimmy Rich for the original uploads from which this hybrid was made.
