my guess is that it has to do something with the genre these can be used for.
D = Dramatic (for example...)
they must have given away key with their releases. hopefully this will show up at some point...

I added n° 27 on Discogs a few years ago: https://www.discogs.com/release/25443349
Like all the latest references in the series, it only exists as a test pressing.
I named it ‘Action 2’ because it was recorded by the same team of musicians from the Crazy Horse cabaret as n° 25. Probably recorded during the same recording sessions.
At the time, I received the original tracklist from saxophonist Claude Thirifays.
We still have to discover the 3 missing references!
