Title: [Conroy] BMLP 100 - Symphonic Variations / Impressions Of A Landscape
Post by: kablamatic on May 31, 2026, 12:21:33 AM: It's been a couple years since I ripped and cleaned up a library record, so I figure I'd give this gem its Library Music Themes debut! It took me nearly three months to remove nearly all the clicks and pops from the disc and I would have finished sooner if I hadn't been so busy. I bought this off of Discogs with the intent of IDing tracks for one of my projects and sure enough, I identified not one, but three tracks playing in some Golden Book Video titles as I was planning on buying some Conroy LPs that have not been added to APM Music's website as of yet, just to see what tracks I could go through in those albums.

This album is so beautiful from beginning to end, particularly on Side B, which sounds like three different sections of a symphony. I hope you all enjoy this newly uncovered treasure!

Post by: nidostar on May 31, 2026, 12:25:36 PM: Thanks for updating the download link kablamatic. What a delight to hear these tracks especially those written by Bob Sharples. In my view Bob was an understated talent in the UK music field who was best known for his TV work and providing orchestral backing to well-known artists of the time.
