While trying to search around for some tracks to potentially assist in completing a CEEFAX tape (see my thread on "Looks Good Feels Good 1"), I found myself in need of some MCT CDs to examine a potential lead. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of uploads of those. And while there WAS a Mega folder with most of the tracks from the entire label's history, that folder has now been emptied, and is of no assistance.
So, I am looking for any, if not all, of the following CDs:
MCT 501 - Colors (1988)
MCT 502 - Guitar Heroes (1988)
MCT 503 - Freeway (1988)
MCT 509 - Leisure (1989)
MCT 512 - Rock For Everytime (1989)
MCT 513 - Made In Sax (1989)
MCT 516 - Big Screen (1989)
MCT 522 - Archi Jazz/Big Band Baile (1990)
MCT 523 - Charm (1990)
These are all the CDs that I believe could potentially contain tracks for LGFG1.

I know this isn't one on your list; however ive found it very hard to obtain anything from this catalog.

I can find about a few of these albums but unfortunately they are all transcoded nonsense. If you don't mind 128k mp3 files I can help with 501-503

That works for me. I'm not picky in the least.

That's absolutely fine, I'm not at all concerned about file quality - anything's better than the LQ I have atm.
Btw, what exactly do you mean by "transcoded nonsense"?

Btw, what exactly do you mean by "transcoded nonsense"?
I mean the files I found are .m4a files that are 320kbps variable bitrate. When decoded and analyzed in adobe audition, you can see where the frequency cutoff is, and it is indicative of a 128kbps file that was converted to a 320kbps file. This is what transcoded means.
A CD wave file has a frequency response range up to 22.5kHz. When you compress losslessly, like with flac, this changes nothing the waveform is identical to the source. When you compress with a lossy codec like mp3, amounts of these frequencies are removed depending on the bitrate used. 320kbps will retain all frequencies up to 20kHz, where there will be a sharp cutoff and nothing left above that point. But lower frequencies like 128kbps, a very popular bitrate when people had slower internet connections remove all the frequencies above 16kHz. So if a person foolishly thinks converting the 128kbps file to 320kbps will improve the audio (it will not), the file can be inspected in this way to see where the frequency cutoff is. In this case, the cutoff is right at 16.5kHz, meaning the files were indeed once a lower bitrate than they are now.
This page explains how to do this better than I can:
interviewfor.red/en/spectrals.html
I converted the files to V5 so they can't continue to spread as fake 320 files.

The fact they look nearly identical tells you that the mp3 encoder didn't find anything to eliminate when converting back down to 136kbps.

Thank you kindly sir. BWP I sent you a PM.

Very interesting. I will note, the CDs did not contain any tracks I was looking for, HOWEVER they do give a strong indication that the label has what I'm looking for. Thank you, regardless, for the CDs, because as Daryl said, the label is very hard to find anything of.

I offer the following in MP3 (not checked bitrate). Thanks to the original uploaders.
MCT 103 Dominique Guiot – Go On transfer.it/t/hylAZHtVHBpD
MCT 502 - Guitar Heroes (1988) transfer.it/t/6qdJcG9zyD5b
MCT 511 transfer.it/t/Q3H68X8TATJJ
MCT 568 transfer.it/t/F7VJZSs33TpQ

I have the MCT 103 and 105 in FLAC, I'll upload them later.

Interesting note on the one I uploaded. The track, "Whole Lotta Groove", was used by WWF/E for the debut of Mick Foley s alter ego Cactus Jack in MSG. I'm a big collector of anything wrestling related. I guess it goes back to my time with WWE, as I got a chance to look behind the scenes on how and where production music was licensed for entrance themes, promos and show bumpers

Once again, a big thanks for the upload of MCT 502. Unfortunately, it was again a dud. But, yet again, the instrumentation gives me hope that, within some of the albums I selected, there is a track I'm looking for.

An update with regards to "what I'm looking for" now:
MCT 509 - Leisure (1989)
MCT 512 - Rock For Everytime (1989)
MCT 513 - Made In Sax (1989)
MCT 516 - Big Screen (1989)
MCT 522 - Archi Jazz/Big Band Baile (1990)
MCT 523 - Charm (1990)
I am PARTICULARLY looking for 509, 512, or 513. I believe those have the best chance, out of any of the CDs initially listed, to have tracks I am looking for.
Furthermore, as an assist for redwave, here are the titles of the other CDs they offered:
MCT 511 - Janus (1989)
MCT 568 - From 1900's To 1940's (1998)
And furthermore, MCT 535, On The Rocks, is a 1992 release.

Last time I looked MCT 513 was available on UPM’s website for preview.

I can't find this library on their site.

You might be thinking about Patchwork PW 86, which has the same title. MCT 513 could somewhat be considered a re-issue of that, containing 7 songs from the vinyl, along with 16 new songs. However, applying some restriction to the tracks which could reasonably have been used on LGFG1 (no tracks are shorter than 2 minutes - I think the actual number is closer to 3 minutes, but I haven't the data up right now to check), that leaves us with 5 tracks that may potentially be one of the "missing" tracks on LGFG1.
-
Small bump on this, the CDs I am looking for remain the same - 509, 512, 513, 516, 522, or 523. If any of those are available, I would be very pleased to see if there are tracks on there. Both this and the LGFG1 thread have been rather empty - I think 501-503 were more or less "too early" for the overall tape composition period, if that makes any sense.
-
I will upload pretty much all the CDs in various quality next time I'm on my PC

Thank you very much for that drive! I will be taking a look through this all some time soon, and put back in this thread if there are any tracks among the MCT library.
Upd: There were! Not every track I was looking for was here, but even what I have found is better than nothing! Much thanks! I'll be coming back around with another request soon, hoping that will be the one to make things right with LGFG1.

I have the MCT 103 and 105 in FLAC, I'll upload them later.
I forgot this, here are MCT 103 and MCT 105:
