I recently bought another batch of CDs, and there are a few among them that I think are worth sharing.
Active in the 1990s Music Library from Japan
“Sound Bank” ‘Sound Factory ’
I’ve heard music from these companies in a lot of railway-related videos, as well as in some adult films.
The former has since been acquired by AudioStock and is now licensed and sold as individual tracks, which has disrupted the original sequence and resulted in the omission of some albums and singles.
The latter had previously gone out of business and ceased production, but in recent years has begun restructuring its operations. It has relaunched its licensing business under the name “DL MUSIC” and has been gradually uploading music from its “Sound Factory” era.
The four albums I’m sharing today aren’t part of the regular series;
“Sound Factory: The Compilation” is a compilation album released in 2005 that features “jazz”-style tracks from previously released albums. The content has been curated by the official team and is available on CD-ROM.
“Sound Bank” is not a standard album catalog series, but rather a collection of special albums spanning various genres. All of them are original works and are not included in the regular album catalog.
Some of them are likely not included in “AudioStock,” so I consider them quite rare.
I still have a few dozen CDs on their way, and I’m sure I’ll receive them by the end of the month.
If I have any free time this year, I might end up ripping some more CDs,
I’m not as interested in “Music Library” as I used to be; I’d rather occasionally help people who are trying to identify unknown songs.
I hope more enthusiasts will join LTM in the future and share some rare items,
