Any chance you could upload these in lossless format? Thanks.

As a rule we generally discourage members from sharing music in lossless format which is currently available for purchase commercially. You can buy them from the GAD Records website h***s://kultowenagrania.pl/product-category/label/gad-records/ or via Bandcamp.

LOL, nidostar! Loads of Sonoton and Intersound albums are available from 7digital in 44.1kHz flac (at very inflated prices), and they have all been shared on this site in 48 kHz flac! So I don't see why this one can't be shared in flac if it's OK to share it (and loads of others) in mp3! After all, it's probably being sold in that format too.

I’m not going to get in an argument. I’m just saying what has been our policy on this forum certainly since I have been a member. Maybe Admin can provide clarification?

Nobody is asking you to get into an argument, nidostar! However there is a pronounced inconsistency in policies and guidelines here, if some commercially available recordings can be shared on this site, and others not... and if something is not allowed to be shared in flac, I don't see how that allows it to be shared in mp3... that was my point. And I hope someone will be willing to share these wonderful recordings in lossless soon. I don't really understand why mp3 is still a thing in 2026.

The non-library section of the forum was removed because it could cause trouble, and this is not a library album, it's a commercial compilation - and given Ankieta was only released about three weeks ago I'm deeply uncomfortable with it being shared at all, frankly.

What is or is not a "library" album is often a grey area, especially with recordings from other countries. If a recording was not made commercially available in the UK, for example, it could be classed as library... especially by the BBC, who often used non-library material as library material. Jerzy Milian's recordings were a prime example, being released in the UK by Apollo Sound as the "Polish Radio Orchestra"... as I believe Henryk Debich also was.

Absolute nonsense.
Everything gitman1 shared is included in library music. Especially the WFO (Educational Film Studio) compilation, which is based strictly on library music in its musical aspect. As for "Ankieta" by Henryk Debich, it's a 1976 recording, recently released from the original Polish Radio master tapes. The argument that it was released commercially doesn't convince me, as many legendary Italian albums, even those released as commercial reissues.

Please support the reissue labels and don't share in-print material to the board. Feel free to discuss new releases in the Reissues (https://librarymusicthemes.com/index.php?board=5.0) section.

Thank you for the clarification Mr. It is as I and Lord Thames thought. Though I had erroneously thought the MP3 versions being shared were the preview copies available on Bandcamp’s website. So not “utter nonsense” as @Ene had said.

The problem is that you removed items that were released for the first time. 90% of the items on GAD Records aren't reissues, but first physical releases. I don't really understand your approach, but I respect it.
