I've noticed that the forum has been very slow as of late, and I just wanted to see the last time a board backup and maintenance has been done.
The concern that it's still running a 9 year old outdated version of the forum software is also still very much present. There was already a 3 or so year loss of material and I constantly worry it's going to happen again. Private message email notifications are still broke and nonfunctional.

Thanks for this. I thought it was just my connection as I haven’t been as active recently and noticed delays navigating the forum. I do agree, is it about to have a wobble ?

I must admit I've also been experiencing intermittent and slow connection. I also thought it was my connection though if I'd thought about it my YT and other streaming is fine so it must be an LMT problem.

Yeah I've noticed this as well. I think it might be time to upgrade the software.

We're aware of it, and working on a fix - the PHP server has been unstable as of late, possibly due to sudden traffic spikes.
The slowdown affects all of us admins and mods too.

If you fix it - don’t change the UI designs… I like the skeuomorphic buttons!

Me too! I started to feel worried if this was down or something, like it's going a bit too slow for me.
