Was looking through Discogs on covers created by Nick Bantock for Music De Wolfe and stumbled upon this one for Dangerous Connection by Gordon Grant:

And i remembered there was an album by 7L & Esoteric with a similar name and cover so i took a look on it, and it was indeed almost identical:

I know there must be a lot of other records that have been inspired by an library record or an cover design style from an library label, i started a list on Discogs with the ones that came to mind. but i know there must be hundreds of more examples, please help me fill my list on dsicogs:

These are always interesting to me too. Alchemist also had a KPM inspired cover. I thought Stu Bangas did too but reckon I imagined that. There’s an old compilation called Big Beat which had the gun design from Pop ARP on De Wolfe.

Bulgarian Sleaze - Stu Bangas and Vanderslice is a Boosey & Hawkes homage.

There's an early Bruton cover I've seen but now can't find, that has a cover image that's pretty obviously based on a live shot of Genesis circa 1976. One of the musicians on the cover playing a doubleneck guitar is the giveaway for me

Oh, cool! I never knew that - I reckon you mean this one, "Contemporary Soundscores":

... it sure does look quite similar to Genesis ca. 1978:

Going slightly off in the other direction there was a character in Prisoner Cell Block H who liked to draw and she had some on her notice board and they were clearly traced or coped from BRM 9- Survival on Bruton, which was we also used as incidental music in the show.
-
Yeah, that's the Bruton cover I was thinking of.
