     When I was a kid, we didn't have cable television so I couldn't watch the new channel taking the world by storm: MTV! Instead, we could tune in a show called Night Flight and I used to tape music videos on VHS and watch them again and again. One unusual video that I enjoyed was "Close (To The Edit)" by Art Of Noise.

     I bought most of their albums over the years and when I got into Library Music I was happy to learn that Art Of Noise member Anne Dudley composed several albums for Amphonic. I expected music along the lines of her art-pop band but was pleasantly surprised to find that her talents are much broader than expected.

     Ms. Dudley also scores films and she won an Academy Award for The Full Monty. And, by a huge coincidence that I just noticed, today (May 7th) happens to be her birthday!

I have Anne Dudley's other Amphonic albums AVFs 06, 11, 15, 27, 37 and 44 all in lossless if you're interested.
