What's red and white and smells like... attic? Not only santa, but also this collection of vintage Italian LPs from RCA :D
Though they are sadly very elusive, I am thankful to have been able to amass a small collection of them over the years - without even going bankrupt in the process.
Seldom heard, I figured it was about time a proper spotlight was put on this series; RCA Italiana's "RCA Custom" label. And so, I have ripped my entire collection.
Contained within, we find some of the earliest known library music out of Italy, encompassing many different moods (including some very amicable jazz!), and including the very first outings of some future big names, including but not limited to Rino De Filippi ("Gisteri"), Luigi Zito ("Klor"), Amleto 'Puccio' Roelens ("A. Grettici"), Teo Usuelli, Luis Bacalov and even fragments of Bruno Nicolai's very first film score, which is otherwise unreleased. Of note, trumpeter Nini Rosso also makes an appeareance as soloist for an entire A-side, perhaps at the height of his career.
... and, characteristically mysterious from its very inception, the pseudonyms are of course plentiful.
I wish you all a merry christmas.
Thanks for being here <3
Please, enjoy - the center gem of my library collection.

Wow that is certainly one Christmas surprise. Thank you so much Mr. I have only listened to odd bits thus far but they seem to capture the relative innocence of library/soundtrack music of the late 50s/early 60s. Wonderful. A Very Merry Christmas to you Mr!
