Title: Edizioni Bang Bang?
Post by: dksch on December 14, 2025, 09:46:48 AM
Hello!

Does anyone recognize this track? I quote one of the comments: "This sounds a bit like Orchestra King Zerand, or possibly the Jayfield Orchestra - something from the Edizioni Bang Bang catalogue, anyway"

Regards,

   dksch (u.h.k.)

The Bang Bang Edizioni catalog is pretty hard to find. This channel has a handful of tracks one could audition manually, but it looks to be a very small subset of the full catalog: https://www.youtube.com/@delfinosolomusica901/search?query=Bang%20Bang%20Edizioni

Thank you very much for bringing that YouTube Channel to my attention! I will listen through the tracks during the coming weekend.

Above track is not the only unknown library track on my YouTube Channel... ;-) This one, for instance, was used by some RAI N Test Card: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzzUtjzHfHA but recorded from a German radio station called WDR.

It was a good idea to upload them to YouTube. That way, you know if the track is in the Google database. Looks like you got one identified track out of that.

I ran them through acrcloud.com, and here are the results:

(I scanned the 0:10-0:20 fragment from each of your videos.) Hopefully, not all of these results are false matches.

Oooh, thank you very much for your effort! What a surprise! I am very impressed!

I know acrloud.com (P.S.: only some older version, it seems), but it is usually not doing any better job than the combination of shazam and the YouTube copyright bot.

I have already spotted some false matches, and you have even run some identified tracks (I have been asked to keep them online for a while - the description will say "This track has been identified."), but nevertheless I will go through the results. Some more "homework" for the coming weekend (besides of that YouTube channel with those Bang Bang tracks) ;-)
