Title: Unknown Track #... I don't know!

I used AHA Music Identifier, but what i got was the wrong track. Perhaps unknown American or British music library if i'm not mistaken.

Turns out it's not a library track! It's a track from Exchange's Between Places album; the track's called Compass Rose. IDK why early '90s new-age music sounds so much like library!

It's probably the typical situation of library composers being asked to copy current trends.  The late '80s and '90s was the high point of the New Age genre, so the composers were asked to copy it.  And perhaps things went a bit the other way too, artists doing commercial albums were influenced by some of the more atmospheric sounding music that came out of library catalogs of the era, that like the rest of us they heard in ads, movies, and TV.
