Very interesting info about the recordings in Mr. Kerridge's liner notes
in the booklet.

Thanks Tuneboy!

Thanks for sharing this title in FLAC. Much appreciated. ;)
I don't suppose you have any other Recur titles in lossless? The only one I possess is ECD 7305 - Musik, Music, Musique.

Still catching up from last week. Thanks for this share tuneboy. As you say the liner notes by Mr K (as he was known) give further insight into the world of production library houses back in the 60s.

Thanks tuneboy, and in stereo! great share.

Thanks for the Narholz and JRB Radioplay shares tuneboy. The release of the Recur CDs seem to have passed me by at the time possibly because I was living the other side of the world in Dyo-land!
The Narholz is great. So too is the JRB Radioplay one though it's an odd mix of library tracks and pop covers. The latter are well produced and sound almost as good as the originals. It's like listening to the Top Of The Pops albums they used to sell in Woolworths back in the day.

Thanks for the ECD 7305, John_Fred.
I discovered a couple tracks that need to be on some future comp.

For Test Card Music aficionados, out there, these 2 CDs are handy for contributing toward lossless versions of tunes for both the Serenade for Conniff and It Must Be Love tapes.

Yes - to put that into context, it's a reflection of a period in the 1970s when pop vocal cover versions were included on the BBC test card tapes. I actually got a thank-you credit on this one, a couple of the tracks I think are actually expertly remastered from my vinyl copies!

Brilliant! I love it! What really cracks me up is the names they've given to the singing artists. I'd have loved to have been at the session (no doubt in their local) when they came up with these names. Hilarious!

Wow!
Thanks Tuneboy & John Fred
I did not know about these Recur CDs
