My first rip from Patchwork! One of my favorite labels. This record contains a wide variety of Western movie themes, some combined with a touch of funk. :o It has some very promising tracks. Also, includes 3 extra tracks by the maestro Teddy Lasry!! 8]
Enjoy it while I fall asleep... it's 3 A.M.!

FLAC - 24 bit - 48 kHz
Trivia: The record stinks of tobacco.

Thanks, Eternas Ondas Musicales!
-
Yay! Thank you Dan. One of the few Patchwork still missing.
I agree, some interesting tracks ("Grands Espaces" above all), and the wierd fact there are three tracks by Lasry that were originally not included in the back cover or labels.
Some (very well done) stickers have been applied on the back cover, but I guess no space available on the side b label to do the same...
-
Thanks for the rip & sharing it
I look forward to the listen and the smell of tobacco image

Although I will miss the olfactory experience, I do appreciate you filling this gap in my Patchworks :)

What's the upgrade about, DAN? less tobacco smell?

Thanks again Dan.

What's the upgrade about, DAN? less tobacco smell?
What I really should have done is avoid exposing my stupidity in front of thousands of people, since I'm terrible at describing a record I just ripped and shared. People here are much better at expressing at length, whereas I struggle to express myself. I feel like if I don't include any information when I post something, I'm being incredibly ungenerous.
-
Dan, please, what are you talking about?
You're very very generous with all your rips and shares. That way of feeling and talking is ungenerous just toward yourself.
Anyways, Fuzi was certainly joking, he made me laugh, for instance.
The previous rip was a 16-44 if I'm not mistaken, and this is a 24-48, right?
-
Greta, If it was a joke, I didn't realize it. I think I have the disadvantage of not knowing how to distinguish between when something is a joke or when it's serious.
The previous copy was at 24-44.1. Simply made a small improvement. And I want to apologize to Fuzi for my misunderstanding.
When I buy a record, I have this strange habit of smelling the cover, whether it's a new or used record, not always. Hence the comment: I was surprised it smelled like that.
-
I also have that habit to smell things.
Most of all the old stuff. The smell of old books, for example, is very catchy to me, like the smell of old bakelite radios, and even vinyls are so good to smell, aren't they?
-
Indeed! There's nothing better than that.
-
Thanks so much Dan, looking forward to this one.
