Hello again, it’s been a while! I’ve got more Hi-Q rips to share today. Most of this selection is new or at least available in lossless for the first time.
All are needledrops this time unless noted otherwise (‘new’ titles are in bold):
• D-31 / D-32 - George Hormel
• D-33 / D-34 - George Hormel
• D-35 / D-36 - George Hormel
• D-37 / D-38 - Philip Green. This is replacing a previous 'reconstruction' I made using CAR 402 from CPM Music.
• D-45 / D-46 - Philip Green
• D-51 / D-52 - Sten Clift. Includes cue codes and year which were unknown beforehand. *** NOW A REEL-TO-REEL RIP ***
• D-53 / D-54 - William Loose. Includes cue codes and year which were unknown beforehand. *** NOW A REEL-TO-REEL RIP ***
• D-55 / D-56 - Reissue, William Loose. Includes cue codes and year which were unknown beforehand. *** NOW A REEL-TO-REEL RIP ***
• D-91 / D-92 - Reissue, Dan Kirsten. D-91 has been replaced with the reel-to-reel version. D-92 is still a needledrop.
• D-125 / D-126 - Philip Green
• S-3 / S-4 - Original. It’s mostly from Spencer Moore, along with some material from William Loose and Bluestone/Cadkin on S-3.
• S-9 / S-10 - Sam Fox, various artists
• S-11 / S-12 - Loose/Seely
• S-16 - George Hormel. This is inside the S-15 folder.
Everything’s in the same Mega folder as before. - h<>ps://mega.nz/folder/zRsQ2JgB#rgh9Xv8trDMEvVkYlZU0Dg
Should I find any additional Hi-Q releases in the future, I’d like to simplify things and use this thread to post new rips. I’m always on the lookout for more, though I do want to keep my focus on D and S reels!
Enjoy!

Speaking as a longtime fan of The Ren and Stimpy Show, I can't thank you enough for finally providing us with a clean, full copy of "Light Agitato" on D-45/46, which has proven to be one of the most elusive Capitol stock cues used on the show..... up until now. You've made a lot of folks who've been searching for this cue from its use on that show very, very happy.
-
I also can't express my gratitude enough. Finally having Light Agitato and Weird Eerie and completing the Capitol lineup of Ren and Stimpy cues is a monumental achievement, as is having more of the D series and the elusive S series of Capitol albums.
Well done, and keep up the great work.
-
Many thanks, Certainly!
-
I can confidently say I thank you for bringing us S-11. Finally! The stings I've been wondering about for so long, I can finally listen to my heart's content.
-
More tracks heard from the John Seely Warner Bros. shorts can now be identified.
One of them is "Chase (ZR-57)" by George Hormel.
-
Thanks for sharing these Certainly1080. I look forward to listening to these. The snippets I’ve heard so far conjour up US programmes from my childhood.
-
A seller I’ve bought from was kind enough to provide label pictures for S-55/S-56 and S-57/S-58. Both are from 1958 and feature Bluestone/Cadkin compositions. I don’t think they own the actual LPs though, these might be from a catalog book. I asked if they had tracklistings or pics for D-67 thru 88 as well, but no luck there unfortunately. That range seems to be the most elusive out of all the Hi-Q releases. I’d love for it to resurface someday.

Thank you Certainly1080!
I especially enjoy D-125, D-126
Many of Philip Green Dramatic, Mechanical songs remind me of Stephen Sondheim in a way
I appreciate all the work and sharing it with us
Fantastic quality

Hurrah, and thanks for your kindness.
I've found five cues in the first Ruff and Reddy adventure that weren't publicly identified. I have added them to a blog post.
It's great to hear ZR-57 as part of it was in a Roadrunner cartoon. I didn't know it was by Hormel.
I'm still holding out hope someone will come upon the Raoul Kraushaar cues on L-58.

I have another set of reels to upload. :) A few more need to be transferred, and then I just need to split everything into separate tracks. Just know that there's not going to be as many rare reels this time, but I've still got a couple!
-
Magnificent!

Thanks for the new additions Certainly1080! Ill definitely be on the lookout for the newer ones when they come up. ;D

Great news, 1080. The last set had seven cartoon cues I didn't have and have updated my blog.

I'd also love to see you find the original versions of L-61/62 and L-65/66. Before the cues were replaced because of a rights dispute.

New day, new batch; everything here is reel-to-reel with most of the unheard stuff this time being from the X series. Titles in bold are new AFAIK, but if I’m wrong please let me know! The rest of it should be a good upgrade over the mp3 versions out there.
h<>ps://mega.nz/folder/zRsQ2JgB#rgh9Xv8trDMEvVkYlZU0Dg
• D-65 / D-66 - Dan Kirsten
• D-91 - Dan Kirsten. While I did post the LP release earlier in this thread, I’ve opted to replace it with the reel-to-reel copy. My needledrop had pretty bad distortion in some parts due to me accidentally setting the tracking force too high. D-92’s still a needledrop since that’s all I’ve got.
• D-119 / D-120 - Erik Markman. The circulating mp3 needledrop is missing the last 10 seconds of Mystique (it kind of just cuts off prematurely). You’re getting the complete track here.
• D-133 / D-134 - Ib Glindemann. This is also replacing my (somewhat noisy) needledrop. The tape sounds much nicer; give it a listen!
• L-65 / L-66 - Reissue, Ib Glindemann
• L-119 / L-120 - Henrik Nielsen
• L-129 / L-130 - Dan Kirsten
• L-131 / L-132 - Dan Kirsten
• L-145 - Ib Glindemann
• L-159 / L-160 - Erik Markman
• M-89 / M-90 - Dan Kirsten
• M-91 / M-92 - Erik Markman
• M-103 / M-104 - Ib Glindemann
• M-105 / M-106 - Ib Glindemann
• M-107 - Dan Kirsten
• X-41/X-42 - Ib Glindemann
• X-49 - Ib Glindemann
• X-51 / X-52 - Ib Glindemann
• X-105 - Henrik Nielsen
• X-109 - Dan Kirsten
• X-112 - Dan Kirsten
• X-124 - Dan Kirsten

This is an amazing project and such a great amount of work. It’s much appreciated though. I always hope I’ll stumble across some William Loose incidentals from Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! They are credited to him and Paul Sawtell and sound very similar thematically to many of these here. Thank you!
-
Thanks for the further additions Certainly1080! These sound even better than some of my previous rips. ;D By the way someone on Discogs has added more rare albums to the Hi - “Q” series page listing.

There's a couple other D-series albums "Havershaw" added to the Discogs database in the time since SoCal's post:
discogs.com/release/34418956-Emil-Cadkin-Harry-Bluestone-D-75D-76 (D-75/76, Cadkin/Bluestone)
discogs.com/release/34419010-Emil-Cadkin-Harry-Bluestone-D-79D-80 (D-79/80, also Cadkin/Bluestone)
Needless to say, these are incredible finds. Especially stoked about the "SM-" tracks on D-65/66 and 61/62, since I've been wondering about those ever since ClassicThemes.com brought them up ages ago when talking about their composer (Alexander Laszlo).

Nice! I never realized D-61/D-62 and D-65/D-66 had older versions. Makes you wonder just how much of this material is either undocumented or completely lost to time. Since the versions of D-49/D-50 and D-53/D-54 we have are from the late 60s, I'm thinking originals for those likely exist as well. There even might be more than that.

More Cadkin / Bluestone tracks. Based on their time lengths, it may be easier to find which tracks were reissued on the CPM Archive Series.

I suspect the original D-63/64 are Laszlo sides as well. I wonder how many came from the 'Q' library.

Would anyone know whether or not multiple versions exist for anything between D-95 and D-130? Some stuff in this range dates from the mid-to-late 60s, which makes me suspect at least some of them were replacements for older reels.
The fact that D-105/106 and D-107/108 do have two confirmed releases only reinforces my suspicion.
Hard to be sure without more pics or a 50s/early 60s catalog book though. I'd love to try researching this.

If the following pages are correct, it appears that Henry Russell composed the "R" cues that show up on various X reels. That sound right?

I don’t think there is an “Original” D-105/D-106 by Eugene Poddany. I’m convinced that the Loose/Seely album is the solely designated D-105/D-106 since it was published in 1959, Poddany’s music wasn’t published until 1963/1964. I’m thinking someone must’ve mistaken it for the L-105/L-106 reels.
But, i am convinced there are more Poddany cues that were published under the D Category, just not D-105/D-106

I asked, the person will get back to me when the chance comes. The latest prior reels in the L category I know is L-101/L-102 (OK) which is MB-2739/MB-2740 (1962) and after L-111/L-112 (AM) PB-3004/PB/3005 (1963)

Wikis are written by fans with no guarantee of accuracy. Anyone can write what they think. If I saw the actual label or something in the Hi-C catalogue, that would be a legitimate source.
I tend to side with Ryan. I think someone got their 105-106s confused.
