Hello, all,
I'd appreciate any help in identifying the four tracks linked below ... 144 and 167 seem to have been in fairly common use shortly after their release, I think. The first three tracks are all from 1990 or before, but I don't have any other clues besides that. Track 167 has a "technical school commercial" kind of sound.
Track 170 is much more recent and could be from the early-to-mid 2000's.
Thank you as always!

170, I don't remember anything, so I can't help you.
But 144, I'm sure I've heard it before.
Probably FirstCom or Sound Ideas.
I'll look it up for you sometime.

Thanks again, @ChunYinZi ... I'm amazed at the wealth of knowledge represented by the people who post here (and a little intimidated by the fact that there's so much to research!).
I'm also a little dismayed to realize that, at this point, a lot of the material that I can't identify myself is likely to originate with discontinued releases, as these two apparently are. The methods that @Craig-UK have provided me for my own research have been tremendously helpful -- but apparently they meet their limits when an album has been out of circulation for a decade or two.
For the two that you have identified already -- I wouldn't have known where to begin. Amazing work.
For 144, I agree, it's very possibly FirstCom -- a lot of their late '80s/early '90s tracks were in wide circulation in national and local TV commercials; it seems like they were one of the "go-to" companies, and I know that this track was used in quite a bit of promo work. I'm not as familiar with Sound Ideas, but their albums may have had the same status.
For 170, I wish I had a longer clip, any clip. I've heard the track at greater length, but it's the same spooky/suspenseful bed throughout. The source material was specifically from 2008; I'd be surprised if it was from a '90s album.
Thank you again!
