The Overlooked Killer Jazz and Funk Cuts
« on: February 26, 2024, 12:18:11 AM »
So we all know of the usual suspects from Amphonic, Bruton, Conroy, Chappell, Bosworth, KPM and De Wolfe as most of the heavier/darker/dance floor filling funk and jazz from these libraries has been featured on various compilations over the years but I know there's a whole lot more which people like myself still fiend for.

I just posted  Franco Goldani - Franco Goldani E I Suoi Solisti up in the vinyl and cd rips forum as it's one of my favourites and it features some incredible music, but it seems to be one of the lesser known jazz library records even though it was issued twice and features the likes of Daniele Patucchi.

Anyone got some recommendations that might be lesser known or overlooked?

Here's a few that I dig and if you haven't checked them out then I urge you to:

Giovanni Tommaso - Vivere a Tokio, Cittá del Paradiso
Cyril Calonn - En vadrouille
Gegè Munari Percussion Modern - Proposte N. 7
Orchestra Gerhard Trede - Points of Vision Fields of Vision
Alessandro Alessandroni - Romance And Drama
Massimo Guantini - Diapositive
