the what-you-got thread (latest purchase/acquisition)
« on: March 15, 2018, 10:04:16 AM »
on at least one of the old LMT forums, there was a thread for latest purchases/acquisition. it would be a nice idea to see what you guys were able to score recently (CDs, vinyl, tapes, catalogues, whatever,...).

if this thread already exists on V.7, please let me know and delete this one

I'm receiving today a couple of Discoboles, including 850.809 "Cocktail" in which I'm very curious! And a couple of Black Rocks: ECR 119 "Graffiti" and ECR 122 "Music in Turbo" - been very curious about these for long as well. + a couple of others, like BW 13071 "Lungo I Sentieri Della Belle Epoque".

very nice roope! that Cocktail and Graffiti look interesting. that Cocktail made it to one of my lists...the Cocktail list obviously...  :D

just got Camille Sauvage's Neutral Vibraphone on Musax. been after that one for ages. great record! one would not think how tough those Musax records are to come by...

still looking for one or two Musax to fill gaps if anyone has something  ;)

From my purchases above Cocktail is great, some tracks reminds me a bit of VIP's Actual Dance, some tracks are atmospheric synth rock, some more experimental.
Both Black Rocks are great. My son got crazy about the Music in Turbo so we already listened that three times.
That Broadway LP is amazing, very charming happy record.
Now playing Meditazione on Equipe and it's wonderful as well. So I'm very happy with this batch! Will definitely rip these at some point!

Milliondollars - do you happen to have 100.028??? I couldn't be much more curious of an album than this.
Probably can't help with filling the caps as I only have 100.009.
Would be amazing to see them all at once!

very nice actually! to be honest, i was expecting much less from it. of course the music is not ground-breaking but the orchestrations are really solid and in some of them you can even hear that cold breeze that i was hoping to hear...

got some obscure late 80s stuff. all seem to be Leonardi offshoots. really nice stuff on them if you are into that kind of music...

I splashed out on Dennis Farnon's SBH 3052.  It was more than I've paid for anything before but I wanted to treat myself!
I now just need SBH 3073 - Electronic for a full Boosey set of LP's :-)

Here's that section with the missing article!  Will soon fill that gap  :)
All those with green stickers were from the same record shop for £2.50 each.  I was searching for Drama stuff at the time and it's likely that I let 3052 sitting there!!!!  :-[

What gorgeous sleeves on those Italians, MD!

- and yet another nice spine collection. Hope the gap-filler fits.

I have all the KPM's other than 1067 and 1130 but i have these on the re-release Tummy Tuch vinyl so at least there's something on the shelf for now.  An Afro Rock went for £134 on Ebay the other week- out of my price range.

Like most others I end up paying more if the desire to complete a run kicks in!  I never dreamt of getting all the KPMs but I got lucky with a haul a few years ago that filled most of the mid-price ones I thought I'd go for a set.

I have all the Amphonics on vinyl I think, missing the odd Bruton, most of the latter De Wolfes, a full set of Atmosphere.
