Glad you're like it :)
Drums from "Power surge" HMCSLP 523
Sounds from BMLP 090

And yes, a compilation of beatmakers should be interesting
Do it yours !

Mine are crap- and I'm not being modest!  We could do something though- all use the same couple of source LPs and see what we come up with.  I don't mind sharing crappy beats- we're all friends here  ;D

BTW- Greta, I have cleaned and ripped a load of these now so they just need editing

I gave this one an Ultrasonic clean and am very pleased with the results.  Granted it's not the best record there is but so nice to have such low noise levels and quiet parts being very quiet.   From now on I'm going to clean everything before I rip it and aim for the best results I can.

Wow. Fantastic!
I was having a look before going to bed and I find three fresh new rips!
And that Studio G... right in time for Halloween!
Thank you Retro.

Just out of curiosity, you mean you now clean physically your vinyls? I mean, you wash them or use some product before the rip process?

Let's do it!! Just like Rhythm Roulette. I have been working on an album off and on for about 15 years where I just use samples from Library LPs, so it may be the kick-up the behind I need.

I bought a decent cleaner after in the past using one of those 'bath' style ones with brushes where you manually spin the record around and the brushes clear out the grooves, but I found it pushed the grime further in (dust and water = mud).  I thought I'd damaged a couple of good records because they sounded worse after cleaning but it was just dirt deep in the grooves.
This new one cleans and dries and although a bit sceptical I'm happy with the results.

Oh, I see. Just what I imagined. Great! I know Rocco is doing the same with his vinyls. The results look fantastic.
