The New Library Sound Vol. 1 - Oceanography
« on: February 06, 2018, 02:23:54 AM »
This was a Bandcamp / digital album put together by some seemingly uncredited-by-name German composers inspired by classic underwater library/soundtracks those of Sven Libaek, Walt Rockman, etc. along with space age and exotica sorts of stuff. Very cool gathering of influences if you ask me, and some great tunes; it's too bad it didn't get much support and that the label seemingly didn't feel the motivation to do more albums - this came out in 2014.

Brilliant. I know there have been many over the years working to collect underwater-themed library tracks. Thanks for sharing this, fiction.
And welcome aboard. I dig your avatar :)

You're welcome. And thanks for the compliment! It's the illustration on Milan Pilar's Coloursound record 'Above And About' from 1989. One of my personal favorite library records.
