Hi every1
« on: April 05, 2020, 03:34:13 AM »
jumping into these forums after happily stumbling upon it a couple days ago.

im a visual artist based in brooklyn and have been intrigued with the bizarre, magical world of library music for a while. I was first introduced through sampling and hip hop, but wanted to dig deeper into the sounds
beyond the usual tepid beat heavy records.

I love anything from robert hall productions to nuovo repertorio.

Currently, i do a show on 8-ball radio in NYC called CHIME WIRE, which focuses on soundtracks, film production music, and library. Heres a link to a recent episode: https://www.mixcloud.com/8ballradio/chime-wire-332020/

Excited to keep discovering that elusive sound :)

Welcome! As a visual artist, I reckon you might find some appeal in the vinyl sleeves, too? There's some great artwork to be found in the various libraries.
