Not sure where to post these
« on: March 10, 2020, 03:33:10 AM »
Here are a couple of other websites I stumbled across along with "Library Music Themes"
I am in no way affiliated with them. Just random web finds. Hope they help. LMK

http://librarymusic.eklablog.com/-c29251482

Fully downloadable albums someone collected and posted (no affiliation)
https://archive.org/search.php?query=subject%3A%22past77%22&page=5

A massive downloadable file chock full of incredible singles (individual mp3's) (no affiliation, and yes FBI in the title scared me too! HA!)

P.S. If I have inadvertently posted in the wrong section let me know and I'll move it. Grazie!

This is run by an absolute scumbag who, among other things, has reposted things from this very forum without credit for his own personal profit. Avoid.

Mr. Is one hundred percent correct on this scumbag. I remember this lowlife seemingly needing attention by posting files that were clearly from here.

Thanks for the heads up. Taking credit for others hard work is bush-league bulls*t. Will avoid. Grazie! And thanks for the other resources, too!

Wow! I didn't know anything about this situation... I just shared some resources in order to help...

I started immersing myself in Library Music like 8 months ago, finding some YouTube channels and researching blogs and different websites, until I finally discovered and joined this forum. I am completely fascinated by the amount of masterpieces in the catalogue and by all your collections and your enormous generosity in making it possible for others to discover and enjoy them as well.

I will be eternally grateful to LibraryMusicThemes and all the members for sharing all the amazing content with all of us.
I'm totally hooked! I can't stop discovering new Labels, Albums and Artists. I think I've finally found exactly the music I like the most!

Peace & Love

 :)

On a good note, the recommend of "http://flashstrap.blogspot.com" is on WFMU and sonically likeminded in Boise, Id is K.R.B.X. 89.9FM Radioboise. Some really fantastic programmers who know their music, collectively and genre specific. A little perusal of their playlists will show you they are deep divers.

A great resource for music, old and new. Check it out here -

https://radioboise.org/programming/shows/

Program Manager - Wayne Birt is a beast. His show is "Drift Correction" on Sunday nights 8pm

DJ Jason Beek - A musician himself knows Vintage rock 'n' roll, heavy blues, twanging rockabilly, righteous surf, classic country, and early gospel like no one I've ever met. - Show - "Spoonful"- Sunday 11am

DJ Brion Rushton - Show - "Strange Feeling" - Mon 12pm - has to be heard to be experienced. Some of the best, weirdest, insane, awesome, ambient, strange, experimental, etc...

DJ Grant Olsen - Show - "It's Now Right Now" - Wed 7pm - I really don't think Grant has listened to the same record twice, he just keeps digging and digging. He gives great radio.

DJ Brett Nettson (guitar player for "Built To Spill") - Show -"High, Wild & Free" - Fri 10pm - Not only can this man play guitar with the best of them, his taste in rock, etc. is equally a force to be reckoned with.

DJ Brian Boru - Show - "Global Grooves" Sat 7AM - One of the most knowledgable people on world music, afro-beat, old and new. Listening to his show I always pick up a "new to me" favorite. The man is deep.

(full disclosure, I used to be a programmer there, but I would recommend all of these music anchors even if I hadn't)

I bow at the feet of WFMU, but this little fledgling station KRBX will have the same acclaim one day. Check out the other shows, too. There's something for everybody. I hit my stride in musical knowledge thanks to most of the good people.

Again, I hope this is alright to post here. I'm not shilling the station. I'm sharing sources of great music for people to deep dive into, just like y'all are doing for this cat. If I've crossed the line, I'll gladly delete.

Cheers,

CharlieBucket

Thanks for the suggestions! Lots to check out here.

Don't be afraid of a little 'self promotion', it's completely fine by me :)

Found this by accident when searching for a folder name on google:

h--ps://ulozto.net/hledej?q=Library+Music&type=archives

It goes for 24 pages. Use the list view.
