Sorry, can't help you with these two.  To be honest, can't remember hearing them on the channel either.  Have you got a video link to their use ?  Guessing these were later interval tracks before the film started ?

The track at the start is one that FilmNet used regularly between movies.  The track is Victorious by Ennio Morricone, and is from The Untouchables OST (1987).

Always makes me think of FilmNet every time I hear it  ;)

I've collected a fair few library tunes from FilmNet on my travels and shared elsewhere.  Thought this list may come in handy for others that venture into the forum to help track down music used on the popular movie channel from the mid 80's to early 90's.

Below is the composer, track title, where it appeared, and album it's from.

Tim Cross - Time And Tide (Morning Club film listings) [JW 511 Time & Motion]
Alan Silvestri - Julie's Final (Royal Club film listings) [American Anthem OST]
Alan Silvestri - Arthur's Theme (Night Club film listings) [American Anthem OST]
Andy Clark - Trust Me (A) (FilmNet programme previews) [KPM 0031 - Title Track]
Chris Marshall - UB42 (ATN FilmNet Programme slide) [AVF 46 - New Age Highway]
Ennio Morricone - Victorious [Programme Slide) [The Untouchables OST]
Eric Caspar - Speed (used in promos) [KOS 008]
Eric Serra - The Big Blue Overture (Film slide/following shortly) [The Big Blue OST]
Gladys Knight & Bill Medley - Living On Borrowed Time (Film slide/following shortly) [Cobra OST]
Keith Mansfield - Special Award (B) ATN FilmNet Programme Slide) [KPM 1316 - Options 2]
Leon Berger - Heatseaker (used in promos) [CAVCD 002 - The Power Connection]
Manfred Schoof - Jetset (ATN FilmNet programme slide) [BER 1108 - Computer Energy]
Mark Styles - Hot Spots (FilmNet At The Movies) [OM 143 - Grooves III]
Merry Clayton - Yes (Film slide/following shortly) [Dirty Dancing OST]
Ray Russell - High Pressure (FilmNet trailer music) [BRN 15 - Montage Of Power]
Steve Malone - Magazine Number One (FilmNet programme previews) [TM 1009 - Prime Time Image]
The Pretenders - If There Was A Man (Film slide/following shortly - used before Victorious if long pause before next film) [The Living Daylights OST]
Warren Bennett - Miami Trax (Film slide/following shortly) [BRH 32 - Bullets]
Vogel Rok - (ATN FilmNet Ident)

There are still some elusive ones that have passed me by including the 3x 30' interval / following shortly tracks that followed Loving On Borrowed Time, and another song from a film I can't track down.  There are plenty of examples where the tracks were used on YT.  This channel wiped the floor with Sky Movies back in the day and pirate decoders were everywhere.
