Forever grateful if you could ID these library tracks!
« on: January 26, 2020, 09:28:05 AM »
When I was a kid in the early 80's, these library tracks were repeatedly aired for years as filler between programs.

I liked them so much that I used a cassette tape recorder off of the TV speaker... So I digitized these tapes and uploaded to YT along with an illustration of how it used to look like on-screen.

Except for these 3 tracks, I’ve managed to ID most as coming from De Wolfe, KPM, Brull, etc. These three are still a mystery!

I’d be forever grateful if anyone here could ID these!

1.

2.

3.

... and a bonus track - this is a cool jazz tune (probably speeded up x2)

STARTS AT 0:41

Can't ID any of them, but I would bet money on it that #3 is a US library track by Vic Szczepanski. When it first popped on I thought it was something off one of his Robert Hall LP's...but it wasn't. For sure it's him though. Same sound, same production, same key, same musicians. I'd start checking all of his stuff on other libraries from the day.

Thank you! Sounds like a great direction, I'll dive into it!
