a8detective : I am awestruck at the extreme detail in each of your rips. These De Wolfe 78 restorations are only the latest in your prolific and ever-growing body of work.

These uploads from yourself, and the general community here @ LMT aren't just music for me. They hold a highly significant place in my life, for several reasons which I won't bore you with. I value these lossless rips like they were gold.

Just saying "Thank you" for your consistently hi quality rips of rare vinyl issues seems so insignificant but it's the truth, and all I can manage at this time.

If mere ripping and scanning of CDs is any indication, the amount of work, attention to detail, organization, personal time and the small fortunes all you vinyl collectors expend is really a labor of love. Is there a better word to describe this torridly passionate avocation?

Please, feel free to keep them coming!     I, too, am most grateful... and appreciate all the incredible time and meticulous effort that goes into doing these superior transfers. 

You have enabled us all to fill-in many gaps in our collections, and replace many bad and low-resolution rips.

Would anyone happen to have a FLAC version of DW 2813?  The present mp3 version that many people have seems to be damaged, which is very noticeable in fuzziness and distortion - particularly at the end of "Movie Play-In March No. 2."

     I don't own a copy of DW 2813 yet, but here is Killa-The-Librarian's rip in mp3. I'm not sure if this is the version you have, but there doesn't seem be be "noticeable fuzziness and distortion" (at least not to me).

Unfortunately, that's the same file.  Listen in headphones.  It sounds like you're listening to it through a blown speaker.  It's very pronounced at the end of "Movie Play-In.." and you can hear the audio not tracking properly, as it dances around in your headphones (I know it's a mono source, but it still shouldn't move around). 

It's either a broken mp3, or started as a low-res (or variable bit-rate) file.
