I'll start on these UMS ones over the next few days and share the results if anyone would like.

That would be much appreciated! Especially to prevent anything from getting done twice, which would be a waste of effort most of the time.

DIY Comps and Other Musical Creations / Re: Unreleased Soundtracks
« Last post by Digga on May 16, 2024, 03:20:46 PM »
Did I imagine that someone had done a home made soundtrack for Death Promise?  I have the old VHS so will note down cues I can recognize- if one hasn’t been done.

Image someone almost did it ;)
according to the credits music and songs are performed by Opus and original music composed by Mike Felder & Bill Daniels (aka Mike & Bill https://www.discogs.com/artist/170597-Mike-Bill) I didn't find anything about a band called Opus related to the soundtrack but searching on Mike & Bill I actually find three others songs played in the movie written & produced by the duo (Mike & Bill «Somebody's Gotta Go (Sho Ain't Me)», The Swinging Bridgettes «Please Come Back To Me», Mike Felder & Margaret Hambric «Slow Change Up») so I think maybe that Opus can be an alias used by Mike & Bill to reunited in this project different artists they work with (like on this previous soundtrack they released one year before (https://www.discogs.com/release/11648174-The-Long-Night-Steely-Who-Can-I-Turn-To). 4/17 songs (without the open and end theme) stay unknown to me maybe are the part of the original unreleased music composed by Mike & Bill like the theme (I extracted them from the movie and put in the soundtrack). On the other part the soundtrack is follow by library music from KPM, Conroy, Studio G, composed by Alan Parker, John Cameron, Jimmy Power, Sammy Burdson (Gerhard Narholz) & Paul Lewis. Retronic let me know if you find other cues in the movie

Thank you so much for the time you put in to this.
For decades, I searched for this library. When I finally got some cues and posted them on-line in 2009, they were still rare. Now, we can enjoy so many more Hi-Q reels through the dogged determination of collectors to try to find and share them.
There are still some rarities (the Kraushaar cues, Gene Poddany's music) I hope will surface some day.

Requests / Re: Mozart Edition - Trade Test Tape Upgrade Requests
« Last post by John_Fred on May 16, 2024, 01:13:16 PM »
I hope it's ok to resurrect this topic, but there's a title within the Mozart Edition label that, despite not having any trade test tracks within it, would be useful to have.

that title being MELP 027 - Robbiani And His Music/John Wallis And His Band.

If anyone can share, I'd appreciate it.   :)

Would love another re-up of this one, if any of the previous posters would be so kind.
