Anyone know of library songs employing either the Theremin or Ondes Martenot? Both were early, single-oscillator electronic instruments with a bit of an 'eerie' sound.
Just re-stumbled-upon this Roger Roger 'classic', which I'm pretty sure uses the Ondes Martenot.
(Chappell CMM 205/C.746/LPC 746-751)
A quick list;
Ondes Martenot:
Bruton Music:
BRM 14 "Underworld" - "Lady in Lace", "Neutral Martenot", "Tense Martenot" (David Snell)
Chappell Mood Music:
CMM 205 "Chappell Mood Music Vol. 5" - "Dalila" (Roger Roger) (also on C.746, LPC 746-751)
CMM 221 "Chappell Mood Music Volume 21" - A-side and "Martenot Themes" (Roger Roger) (also on LPC 1033, 1034, 1037, 1066, C.I.S. 5010, 5012)
L'Illustration Musicale:
IM 25 "Sound Industrial" - "Sound Industrial N° 8" (Roger Roger)
KPM Music Recorded Library:
KPM 1084 "Mediterranean Intrigue/Martenot" - B-side (John Leach)
MP 2000:
MP 19 "Monologue pour..." - "Monologue pour Ondes Martenot n° 1", "Monologue pour Ondes Martenot n° 2" (Daniel J. White)
Sonorop:
SONO 3030 "Ondes Martenot" (Stève Laurent/Pierre Duclos)

Ah, yes - very nice!
-
Roger Roger's "Lunar Landscape" from C. 784 is a great showcase for the Ondes. I think it's also used on "Univers Sideral" from TCR 102.

Cool topic, Mr. I haven't thought about theremin records in years.
Thanks for this list -- a perfect start. And thanks, roope and Caliban for the additions.

Here's one to add:
KPM LP 15 (084a) "Saw Theme" (William Trytel) 1961
-
While not technically library albums, Barry Gray used the Ondes Martenot liberally on his various soundtracks to Gerry Anderson puppet television shows.
-
Tons of compositions by Harry Lubin which use theremin.
-
The whole of side 2 of KPM 1084 is a series of Martenot compositions by John Leach - 'Allegro for Martenot' is a lovely Wendy Carlos style piece which was used as the theme tune to the BBC schools programme 'It's Maths!
1960s French Chappell recordings quite often feature a quick blast of the Ondes - I like the the little guest appearance in the middle of this Paul Bonneau track, as used in The Prisoner.
-
Chappell CHA 012 includes 2 Ondes-Martenot-tracks by Paul Bonneau, Préambule Musical No. 36 & 37.
