Title: Alfred Kluten’s National Anthem Arrangements
Post by: PJP on July 21, 2019, 11:17:23 PM
What albums did Alfred Kluten’s National Anthem Arrangements originate from? I could only ever find them on the sampler albums from the Sonoton Authentic Series label. Were they from any previous albums at all? Discogs is missing a bunch of old SAS albums and I can’t find those missing ones anywhere on the internet, so I am willing to think that they were. If that’s the case, then does anyone know which ones they were?

These are the albums that they are sampled on.

I recall there was an album that had "Russia (USSR)" and "Russia" anthems [this would've been in the 1990s when Russia used Glinka's "Patriotic Song"].  I'm inclined to think these were the "original" albums and simply were updated as time went on.

This one I mentioned disappeared from APM not long after I previewed it [maybe a month later]...
