Australian 78 label under Australian Record Libraries Pty. Ltd., based in Sydney and established c. 1947 by Dudley M. Fegan and Ronald A. Irish.

The label seemingly never made the transfer to LP. Its material seems to possibly have been ended up under the Australian branch of Southern.

Rondex is mentioned in the May 29th, 1947 edition of the Australian magazine Broadcasting Business as being available "soon":


Rondex' parent company Australian Record Libraries Pty. Limited was registered later the same year, in June 1947, and the registration notice also lists its founders:


A later notice in Daily Mirror dated November 25th, 1954 gives some more details:


- So Rondex' themes composed by Red Perksey were launched c. 1954, and were recorded with a group of 16 players mostly 'borrowed' from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
