Yes, it's "Orchestral Suite No. 3 In D Minor, BWV 1068: Aria" by The Swingle Singers from their 1963 album "Jazz Sebastian Bach".


For us Italians it is "the theme song of Quark (and of all the programs hosted by the unforgettable Piero Angela)".
