Could you please re-rip this in a lossless format? MP3 is a lossy format.

Nice spot! Pretty cool that Sonoton distributed them at one point.

Here we have an odd beast, an album full of tracks from several Electronic Arts Harry Potter games by Jeremy Soule, retitled and restructured for use as production music in a partnership between EA and APM.

This library is borderline lost media, as the EA/APM license fizzled out around 2012, and since APM was running on the myAPM search engine at the time and it wasn't known that contents from its albums were in SpongeBob or The Mighty B!, their existence hasn't been archived very well and the albums themselves rarely ever show up. I don't think I've ever seen any CD copies of any albums past the tenth one for sale.

Regardless, enjoy this odd little selection.

That would be much appreciated! Especially to prevent anything from getting done twice, which would be a waste of effort most of the time.
Not the best recordings I’ve come across on The Archive. Some seem to have more “top” than I would expect. But other than normalisation and applying Click Repair I have avoided tinkering with them. They’re here:

Don't usually share music in FLAC format, but I thought this might be of some interest to others here:

I swear I remember seeing this posted a couple of years ago. It probably went missing during one of the outages the site has had. However, that was in MP3 format, which is lossy.

One of Sonoton's first CD albums, this is the CD release of the vinyl albums SON 269 and SON 183, and the first CD album to feature classical music. It was apparently discontinued around 2000, and as far as we know, it's the only album in their main series no longer available anywhere.

This album has also been submitted to our PMCDAP project (https://pmcdap.org/submission/987.html). For those of who are wondering about this project, see the FAQ and we are looking for contributors!
The original BIN and CUE rip itself can be found somewhere else on a certain "Archive".

I believe that it's the right decision for the forum to be careful with non-library postings as the music industry is getting very touchy about copyright. The forum has been shutdown many times , probably due to a copyright strike and it's wise to attempt to minimise the risk of it happening again.
