Hey everyone!

One of the professor's who has helped me with Gerhard Trede stuff has asked about learning of the literature of Library Music. Does anyone have any good reads besides Unusual Sounds? Thanks!

This is a comprehensive account of KPM/Bruton, but covers a lot more about the history of the business of production music.

Oliver Lomax. The Mood Modern - The Story of Two of the World's Greatest Recorded Music Libraries: KPM (1956-1977) and Bruton Music (1978-1980)

+1 from me on this book. I read it last year in the summer all about Robin Phillips. Definitely worth a read

That said, I have yet to read ‘Unusual Sounds: Hidden History of Library Music’
