Don't know who the artist is, but it's one of the many Disco remakes of Theme From Close Encounters.

And I grew up with Prisim on cable! Was exclusive to the Philly and surrounding areas (grew up in Havertown). I remember when they would show all the WWF wrestling matches from the now demolished Spectrum. Great memories.

Nice, checking out what I see is on youtube, some come close but not the exact version with that drum only part with the guitar scrape.
