"Whose Line is it Anyway" Stock Music Mysteries
« on: March 17, 2020, 04:15:37 PM »
Does anybody know what stock tracks are used in the "Scene to Music" game? Specifically: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBIO7xaFr_o - at 1:25, 1:45, 2:10, and 2:57. I've already identified the piece at 2:29 as "Battalions Of Space" by Alan Hawkshaw.

There's also this playing:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znAD325--OE ; anybody know the tracks at 1:10, 1:36 (same track as in the first video), and 2:05?

Have you identified any other cues? This often gives a good indication of where the producer's may have gotten them in the first place.

These could  all easily have come from a "Movie Styles" type CD, as these are all cheap knockoffs of iconic movie themes; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Indiana Jones, Jaws, Adam West-era Batman and so on.

Well, there was another playing of "Scene to Music" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rY10d85ipVY) but it only used one song:  "The Gunfighter" by Franco Micalizzi and Roberto Pregadio.  That's all I know.
