SR Records

SR Records ("SR Record" for the Intermezzi-series) was an Italian label under Sermi Film Edizioni Musicali, founded by Michelangelo Cunsolo.
(On the internet, this label is frequently and incorrectly referred to as "Sermi".)
The records are physically very similar to Gemelli, packaged in high-quality, thick cardboard sleeves with colourful prints, courtesy of the Roman U. Pinto printing company. The releases are, again, similarly to Gemelli, very inconsistent in their catalogue numbering, often having multiple variations on the release. For this listing, I have used the catalogue number that appears on the front of the sleeve. Where no catalogue number appears on the front, I have used the one on the rear.

some of you may have noticed that for SR ST 140 to ST ST 145 (the final batch of the label) new versions have appeared on discogs. apparently, they are identical except missing the SR logo on the front of the cover. i have noticed this difference with Vacanze and Atmosfera Bellica some time ago. i got told that the versions without the SR logo were misprints that were withdrawn and scrapped. can anyone confirm this or has heard something similar? it would explain why most copies of Vacanze do not have a cover. maybe they have distributed some copies while they were waiting for the new covers (with the logo) being printed? of course it i a speculation only and would leave the question open why only Vacanze copies have that kind of issue.

but it would explain why most of the 140 to 145 copies that appear online (popsike,...) do have the cover with the logo and only very few are without...

would be fantastic if someone knows a little more about this case!

I have 5 volumes of the Intermezzi collection including 01 02 03 04 and 05.

Are they valuable/rare and would anyone be interested in buying them?
