Atari 2600 Battlezone Commercial (1983?)
« on: August 22, 2019, 08:10:16 PM »
You ever have a song stuck in your head and for whatever reason, it just seems to interfere with trying to locate or identify a new piece? This is happening right now, and I can't seem to clear my mind of Bruton's "The Achievements of Man"! Which in turn, leads me to Atari's 1983 commercial for the game Battlezone, as seen below.

The background sounds so familiar, yet I just can't process it.

Any feedback is definitely welcome.

Thank you,

Gabe.

Brian Bennett ‎– Voyage

I also found this track for the first time on the video demo of the first 3d game 1982-83

Maybe one of my first steps of this type of music.

YES! Thank you, thank you so much. I knew I had just heard it recently, and for the life of me, I couldn't remember where. When you posted the video link and mentioned reference to a 3d game, that's exactly what I've been looking at the for the last week or two! Vintage retro gaming ads and videos!

It was the video for William's Star Rider posted by VintageCG. Again, many many thanks!
