I was checking the amber one today and after extracting the songs i noticed that some of them appear only as "file", and can't be opened. Anyone else had this issue?. Here's a screenshot

So have I. I tried adding the .flac extension to those files, and they played without any issues.

Can't seem to make it work, well nvm. On the other hand, thank you for sharing the tuned percussion lp, was actually looking for that one a few days ago.  :D

All of the files opened w no problem for me and all show as FLAC files.

I often have troubles with .rar files from certain uploaders. I expect that different regions mean differing programs and/or translations between languages lead to the difficulties. When this happens, if I'm unable to troubleshoot the problem myself, I simply open another unarchving program from the one I use in the main.

May I suggest:

1)   Opening up the file by right-clicking for the file info. Check to make sure it says FLAC file. If it doesn't, change it to .flac

Next, try opening the file anew.

2)   Opening the .rar file using a different unarchiving program. There's many to choose from online, most of them are free. Download the program of your choice and try opening the problem file with this new program.

These 2 steps have never failed to open a stubborn file. I hope they'll work for you, too.

Thank you for the share.

Having a Mac I convert the flac files to lossless m4a with XLD so I can listen to them in iTunes. XLD app recognises flac files with or without the flac extension so converts them and adds the m4a extension.

Thank you so much for the upgrades, Roope. A wonderful selection, especially Buttercup Jones, a favourite of mine. It's very nice to listen to these beauties as they deserve.
De Wolfe is such a great label, like KPM, Bruton, Chappell... but there's more to De Wolfe, the variety of its weird covers. Thanks again!

Didn't see this one uploaded on this site, so I thought I'd share it.
File quality is 48k 24-bit FLAC. Some surface noise can be heard, but, considering that the record was issued in 1967...

Sometimes I think the de Wolfe labels were designed by Terry Gilliam! Having said that, a lot of Monty Python episodes used de Wolfe music!  ;D

Thanks for this share, mshow81.
I tried to download several times from the link but when I try to play them I always get an error.
Does anyone else have problems with them?
