I looked onto EMIPM's website to see if KPM 1034 was available digitally, and still they don't have that album up (even though I already saved Retronic's rip from the previous forums). Plus, KPM 1004 is still unavailable in its entirety.

THEY LIED TO US!!  >:(

Okay, jk
On the contrary, however, it would be cool to actually access every single album like the article mentions.

Cool to hear they're doing all of Brull and FDH too!

Same here. It's great that a company like KPM cares so much about their archive catalogue.

Yeah, read how they put it:

"EMI PM also has plans to digitize the Francis, Day & Hunter and Charles Brull libraries.  Time will reportedly run out to preserve the original reel-to-reel tapes.  The company has moved quickly to ensure the music prospers and continues to have a long life."

Long live EPM!

Extreme Music have got the rights to the tracks on 1004 now, though the version KPM had available for download briefly was a much better copy, with all tracks in stereo (and without those awful new track titles!)

Actually, I'm pretty sure the tracks on 1004 are owned by Brilliant Musik, the library/publishing firm founded by Kiessling and Tautz; just like those tracks on various Conroy albums they have digitized are owned by Sonoton (strangely, "Polka mit Pfiff" by Werner van Overheidt [under the pesu. "Elmer Stigman"] is still available on one of the KPM "Around the World in 80 Minutes" CDs, although it's probably currently owned by Sonoton).

Agreed, EMI's website is such a wonderland for library fans like us, they have tons of interesting labels like Coloursound including some seventies & eighties stuff!

I'm finding it really useful that these are on Spotify. I'm working my way through the 1000 series, a lot of which I have never heard. It's making my working day so much more enjoyable  :)

Recently (Today?) EMI PM has uploaded the first batch of digitized FDH Mood Music albums on their site. For now, the only available albums are from FDHLP 192 to FDHLP 232 (but without FDHLP 195, 201 and 229): https://www.emipm.com/en/browse/labels/FDHLP

Wow, neat! Thanks for sharing.

These digitizations sound much cleaner and better than my shellacs.
