Thanks for sharing these Dan. I hope you enjoyed your trip and that it wasn’t too stressful; Parisian taxi drivers aside.

Track IDs / Help identifying track.

I'm looking for the track that plays in the video link below.

It was used in announcements by Rede OM (now CNT), Record, SBT and Globo throughout the 1990s. It was also used in a joke on the program "Viva a Noite", on SBT and in the ID of the program "Cadeia" on CNT.

Track IDs / Valentino Track - "Union Soldier II" on Vol. 38 CD
« Last post by 4820Tunes on July 07, 2025, 01:23:04 AM »
Hi. I'm hoping someone can ID the original source LP for this track entitled "Union Soldier II" which appears on the 1987 Valentino Production Music CD Vol. 38 ("Americana"). It was used as earliy as 1977 on the CBS Radio Mystery Theater, and I'm trying to find info for the original vinyl release -- composer, name of LP, date of release.

Thanks.

Track IDs / Re: Help identifying '80s library tracks.

Bumping it up with a very unique track from 2003 (so say the files in the zip): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rZrnOONyjj6iC1JVobZgBGhWPlpkd8MF/view?usp=sharing

I got it off a library music site in 2006 because it sounded very much like the first track I included in this thread (the fast rock-pop track in C-major). I was hoping to relocate the site for more information but it seems to have disappeared after nineteen years. It's designated as "The Wild Life" by Peter John Ross and sounds to have been inspired by the end title track "Back to School" by Eddie Van Halen, from his score to the 1984 film The Wild Life https://www.vhnd.com/2013/09/03/eddie-van-halens-back-to-school/.

Then there's this YouTube video of another version of the track "The Wild Life" from eight years ago, also performed by Ross, but in a much more crude, demo-like form: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_dj8TyOIZI&list=RDj_dj8TyOIZI&index=1&ab_channel=sonnyboo. The 2004 version sounds more polished and more professionally-produced.

Has anyone ever heard these tracks before or have any information about them, particularly the 2003 version?
